In December 2021, Amtec surveyed its database of customers across the UK on their position and views on regenerative farming. This report details the findings of the survey, and motivators and aspirations of farmers in the UK.

34% of farmers don’t know what the least healthy part of their farm is

25% said the arable areas are the least healthy

only 15% of farmers state that arable land is the healthiest part of their farm

53% of farmers are already making progress and using establishment systems which are less damaging to the soil

Almost 50% of farmers suggested that their main motivation to get into regenerative agriculture was to improve their soil health
