AMTEC require a full-time business development manager to sell irrigation systems.

Full-time BDM required with technical sales ability to sell agricultural irrigation systems, mainly consisting of hose reels, irrigation pump sets and a range of irrigation parts.

AMTEC Smart Farming Solutions (previously Ellis Machinery) is one of the largest, independent used farm machinery dealers. Six years ago, we saw an opportunity to supply irrigation to the UK agricultural sector, and we have had growing success with this product line every year since. It has now grown to the point where we require a dedicated salesperson to handle this business section and take it to the next level.

The right candidate will display the following attributes:

A positive, can-do attitude.
A willingness to work hard.
A quick decision-maker.
Willingness to make outbound calls and face-to-face on-site visits.
An ability to grasp hold of the science behind irrigation.
A keenness to learn about the technicalities of irrigation. I.e., how a pump works.
An ability to communicate and deliver a presentation clearly and confidently.
The ability to work in a team and to show leadership qualities. As this venture continues to grow, there will be further opportunities for promotion to management areas carrying more responsibility.

Salary £37,000 - 45,000 + company bonus
