The History of Mzuri Agricultural Machinery

The story starts in Worcestershire in 2005, following the acquisition of Springfield Farm near Pershore by Martin Lole, the founder of Mzuri Farm Machinery. With a background in engineering background from his Spearhead days, Lole developed the Mzuri Pro-Til to streamline the processes of the conventional system. This innovation allowed for the creation of a seedbed directly into stubble in a single pass, significantly reducing costs.

The outcomes proved to be remarkable, surprising even Lole himself with the extensive array of benefits. The financial impact was so pronounced that the accountant questioned what seemed to be an oversight in the farm bookkeeping. However, the reality was a substantial reduction in diesel consumption, labour, and machinery usage.

Subsequently, with the diminished cultivations characteristic of the Mzuri system, the soil health of the farm improved. Crops exhibited better establishment, and the retention of moisture and structure supported the growth of higher yielding crops. The transformation was significant and continues to align with the experiences reported by customers transitioning from plough-based systems to this day.
