Construction of the office expansion is almost complete!

Some of you may know (and have seen) that we are expanding our premises at Gaydon! At the end of 2022 we were excited to move in to stage 1 of the improved, spacious office area where the new carpets and paintwork subtly reflect the rebranding of Ellis Machinery to AMTEC.

The focus for the builders is now on the boardroom and we are pleased to see the newly constructed exterior wall where there was once a whole side missing! But even with work going on, we are still open to visitors. In the spirit of a new year, we have freshened up the 9-acre yard by re-organising the space to ensure a good flow through all the different machinery areas.

What to expect when you visit us

Upon arrival, a team member will sign you in and show you around the yard over a cup of tea or coffee (we can supply a hi-vis); you are then welcomed to view the machines at your own leisure, if you wish. Any questions on the machines you have seen (or not seen because we offer a sourcing machinery service) will be answered by one of the sales team while walking around or after you have finished your viewing. Before leaving, we ask that you kindly pop back to reception to sign out and so we can give thanks for taking the time to visit us and provide you with a pack with some goodies inside.

More than just a used farm machinery specialist

When you visit the yard, you get to see how we operate behind the scenes and visitors frequently comment that they are pleasantly surprised by the sheer scale of the yard, the 300+ machines on show, and to learn that we operate beyond being a used farm machinery specialist – with irrigation equipment, a hire department with its own growing fleet, and that we also purchase machines from farmers, there’s something for everyone in the agricultural community here at AMTEC.
